What is Diabetic Neuropathy?

Diabetic neuropathy, a common complication of diabetes, is damage to the nerves that allow you to feel things such as pain. There are several ways that diabetes damage the nerves, but they all seem related to blood sugar being too high for a long period of time. 

Diabetes-related nerve damage can be painful, but it isn't severe pain in most cases.

Can I Participate in this Diabetic Neuropathy (DPN) Clinical Research Study?

This clinical research study is currently enrolling adults, across the country, who have been diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy.

You may qualify

  • Above the age of 18
  • Have mild to moderate hypertension
  • Have mild to moderate high blood pressure

What are the Benefits of Participation?

If you qualify to participate in this clinical research study, you will receive study-related care from a team of physicians and research professionals. More specifically, you will receive ongoing study-related physical exams, lab tests, and an ECG at no charge. In addition, you will receive study related medications. Eligible particapants may be compensated for their time and travel.
