Dr. DeVries graduated with honors from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in biomedicine in 2004. He then went on to receive his medical school training at the founding osteopathic medical school, A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, established in 1892. Dr. DeVries moved with his wife Lynn to Clearwater, Florida in 2008 to further his training through Largo Medical Center Graduate
Medical Education Department. He graduated from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010 and began his residency in Family Medicine at Largo Medical Center. Dr. DeVries graduated from his residency in 2013 and began working as an attending physician at Largo Medical Center and enjoys educating future residents and physicians. Dr. DeVries has had a longstanding interest in clinical research and has been a sub-investigator for numerous studies. He also works in private practice at Premiere Family Medicine and is welcoming new patients. Dr. DeVries is board certified in Family Medicine.
